Does anyone know where the Streator car motor company was? I 've seen Photos of the buildings but can't figure out where they were.

I always get confused where the motor car company, metal stamping place, and the green house were located.
Okay, who remembers buying hot house tomatoes. They were packaged in a rectangular box, metal handle. Everybody complained about them, but the place did a good business.
I am busy til Friday, if no one answers by then, I will go to the Museum and see what I can find. Joanie

The Streator Motor Car Co. (established by L.P. Halladay) occupied 7 acres on the south side of E. 12th St. near Otter Creek St. Eight buildings comprised the plant at the height of it's operation, and there were more than 200 employees. This info was taken from "125 years a celebration."
