Story of Streator, pages 28 and 29 have pictures of interior, John Hoban and the ad for Paris Garter. ...The building is of brick, one-story high, 130 x 30 feet, amply provided with windows from which come an abundant supply o light and air... .....(Hoban) went into business for himself in 1906, operating a shirt factory. In 1910 he erected his present factory, in which he in confining himself to the manufacture of the Paris garter.

Dan Howard Industries of Chicago owned the building. At one time, a couple of the board of directors at the Museum were looking into purchasing the building. Joanie

That was around the same time Keens was torched. I sure wish they would have caught the culprit. Evidently that person cared nothing about the history of the buildings.
